Go to Flower Music Studio

As a musician who went through lots of learning and explorations of music creation and production, I know how sometimes it can feel frustrating to not have the profesionnal means of recording. When the creativity flows, the last thing one wants to do is to think what tools to use or what could be better in particular situation. And I know how expensive it can be to record music in a professional studio. Therefore, I recently upgraded my flat to accommodate such needs. Although the setup might be called very basic, it still does the job. It’s not just a recording place anymore, but a place of wellbeing, of relaxation and enjoyment. Three words: spatious, comfortable and inspiring. I’d like to offer this space for people who are thinking of making better recordings or having better mixes for their songs. Perhaps a great artist is being born.

This space is very close to Clark Adam ter and although very central, thanks to sound isolating windows, it’s soundproof. I have also installed sound absorbing panels for better sound proofing.

What I offer:
Mic: Professional Shure SM57 mic for recording anything: vocals, guitars, percussions
DAW: Ableton Live 10 and 12; or Garageband (for more basic, but actually great sounding quick recordings and mixes)
MIDI Keyboard: Arturia MiniLab (22 key) or Roland (44 key)
MIDI instrument for live automation, mixing and recording: Ableton Push 2 (simply badass)
Headphones for mixing and monitoring: Audio Technica M40x, Sennheiser HD650
Guitars: Musima Record (there’s nothing in this world sounding close to this), Jay Turser (a very good copy of Fender strat guitars)
Bass guitar: basic one from unknown brand 🙂
Effect pedals: fuzz, distorition, looper, delay, etc.
Sampler and live mixing tool/mixing pad: Korg Kaoss Pad KP3+
Amp: Tech 21 (solid state) — very rare discontinued amplifier from New York that was used by Les Paul for his concert sessions. There’s also a very basic Marshall, but it’s not worth mentioning it (why would you use it? :))
Turntable: Audio Technica LP120 (to make samples or just to enjoy some music).

There is comfy sofa, armchairs and my favorite part of the flat: a gallery where you can lie down on the wooden flooring or mat just to rest your mind, while listening to music or just having a silent break. Coffee machine, a teapot and all that is needed for a good day are available. I’m in your service to make you a good tea (from a variety that I have) or even bake some good cookies. You name it.

One hour session: 12,000HUF
Two hour session: 20,000HUF
Three or more hours: 9,000HUF per hour

What does this price include?

  • full usage of the space and gear
  • consultation for any recording needs
  • assistance with production and mastering

The place is also open for any other kind of sessions: book launch event, private music classes, meditation sessions for small groups and anything you can imagine.
